This Privacy Statement explains how Crystal Software Solutions Pty Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use Ready, Set, Gig! (the "Service"), our mobile application and related services. We are committed to handling your information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (including the Australian Privacy Principles) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We collect only what is necessary to operate the Service:
Where the GDPR applies, we process your information on the basis of: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you request); legitimate interests (to keep the Service secure and reliable); and consent where required. You may withdraw consent at any time.
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only as follows:

International transfers. Some providers process data outside Australia (for example, invite emails are sent via Resend in the United States). Invite emails contain only an opaque token link and do not include sensitive personal information. Where we transfer personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with this Statement and applicable law.
You can delete your account at any time from within the app. For full step-by-step instructions, and how to request deletion if you can no longer sign in, see our account deletion page. Deletion of your active profile and content data is immediate and permanent, with no grace period. For security and abuse-prevention purposes we retain a system audit log entry with your name redacted, as noted below. When you delete your account:

When a band is deleted, it and its data are retained for 30 days and then permanently purged.

You can exercise most of these directly in the app. For any other request, contact us at privacy@readysetgig.app. If you are in Australia and are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). If you are in the EU/EEA, you may complain to your local data protection authority.
We protect your information with encryption in transit, Firebase App Check on all backend requests, secure token storage on your device, and server-side enforcement of who can access what. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access.
Ready, Set, Gig! is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Statement from time to time. When we make a material change, we will update the version number and effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
