Delete your account

Ready, Set, Gig! · Crystal Software Solutions Pty Ltd

This page explains how to permanently delete your Ready, Set, Gig! account and everything associated with it. You can do this yourself inside the app, or ask us to do it for you if you no longer have the app installed.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no grace period and no way to undo it. If you want to keep a record of your songs, gigs or rehearsals, write them down before you delete your account.

Option 1: Delete from inside the app

This is the fastest route and takes effect straight away.

Open Ready, Set, Gig! and make sure you are signed in.
Go to the Account tab.
Find the account you want to delete and tap Sign out.
In the panel that slides up, tap Delete account underneath the Cancel button.
Confirm when asked. Your account and data are deleted immediately.

Option 2: Ask us to delete it

If you have already uninstalled the app, cannot sign in, or would simply rather we handled it, email us:

Subject: Account deletion request

Send your request from the email address you used to sign in, so we can confirm the account is yours. If you signed in with Google or Apple, use that same address. We do not ask for your password, because the app has never had one.

We will confirm your identity, delete the account, and email you when it is done. We aim to complete requests within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

What is deleted

Data	What happens
Your user profile: name, email address, profile photo	Marked deleted immediately, then permanently purged by a scheduled process
Your band memberships, song ratings and notes you have written	Permanently deleted immediately
Your name on shared items such as songs, gigs and rehearsals	Redacted to “[Deleted user]”
Your sign-in account	Revoked immediately, so you can no longer sign in
Your tipping history, if you have supported the app	Permanently deleted

What is kept, and why

Data	Why it is retained
A security audit log entry, with your name redacted	Kept for security and abuse prevention. It does not identify you.
Content created by other members of your bands	It belongs to them, not to you, and remains in their bands.
Payment records held by Apple or Google	If you tipped through the App Store or Google Play, those stores hold their own transaction records under their own policies. We cannot delete them. Contact Apple or Google directly.

If you manage a band

Bands need at least one manager. If you are the only manager of a band, the app will warn you before you delete your account and give you the chance to promote somebody else first.

If you choose to delete your account anyway, that band is deleted along with you, including its songs, gigs and rehearsals, for every member. Bands are retained for 30 days after deletion and then permanently purged.

Bands where you are a manager alongside someone else, or where you are a bandleader or musician, are unaffected. Only your membership is removed.
